To my few followers,
I sincerely apologize for being blog mute, but I'm back! Where has the time gone?! It has been almost 2 years since my last post and so much has happened! I don't even know where to begin with all the craziness of my life, so I've created a little collage to show you some of the bigger events that have happened.
- First off, I MET A BOY! His name is Shawn(top left picture), and we've been together for almost a year now ♡ I'm sure you'll get to hear all about him in future post, but he's so great!
- Next, I turned 21! Through all the excitement and anticipation of finally being able to drink, I learned very quickly that I'm really just not a fan of alcohol. Disappointing, right? And I'm not just saying that because I know my grandmother is reading this!
- All the way in the top right is a picture from this past summer. I had the most amazing experience of being an assistant for a Registered Dietitian. For the whole summer, I was emerged in community events where I was able to represent PennState Extension and teach nutrition! My favorite part was creating and running a 4H kids camp all about the importance of food, nutrition, and exercise. Community nutrition is without a doubt my calling.
- The biggest announcement of them all is featured in the bottom left corner. I'M GOING TO BE AN AUNT! Jess and Travis are expecting a little girl in the beginning of March and I could not be more excited for the parents-to-be! We are only 2 months away!
- Next up - some bittersweet news. I have played my last game of field hockey :( I am officially a NARP (non-athlete real person). I will miss playing competitively so much, but I am ready to take on the next chapter as a coach.
- Last, but not least, I cut 8 inches of hair off! That's not really big news, but it was a big change!
So there is my very brief timeline of the last 2 years! Of course a lot more has happened, but it's almost too much to explain. I would much rather talk about my adventures today and share with you some pictures of my favorite place on earth. Stay tuned for a post later tonight!
